Emojipedia Archives Now Fully Available In 19 Languages

A few years ago, Emojipedia began the process of translating our site into 18 global languages in addition to English. Today, on the twelfth annual World Emoji Day, that project is officially complete. All emoji entries, vendor pages, and other emoji information pages on Emojipedia can now be fully viewed in these 18 languages.

The 18 non-English languages now fully supported on Emojipedia are:

🌐 How to change language

Across the entire site, our users can change their current language via the bottom of our left-hand sticky menu bar on desktop, or the bottom of the burger menu option on mobile devices.

Above: the bottom left "En English" button is the primary language selection tool for Emojipedia.

Clicking on the two-letter language code and name (e.g. "En English") will open a pop-up window where users can change the language they are browsing Emojipedia in.

Changing the language on a site page will refresh that page in the newly selected language (e.g., ✨ Sparkles in English will update to ✨ Chispas in Spanish).

Our search results page also features a "Search in your language" option, which also opens the same language selection pop-up window as the menu bar.
